Who's this guy?

It's my buddy Ike, aka Super Ikester. Ike & I met through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program here locally, he's 11. He lives down the street from me, and we have been making plans to hang out & have fun. Last Sunday, we went to "In-Play" in Peoria, to play some games, and he climbed the indoor rock wall. I did NOT climb the rock wall, but had fun watching him. He actually made it to the top and rang the bell, which was the first time!


After that, we played almost every "game" which would in turn spit out tickets, that you could redeem for items at the gift exchange. For 30 tickets, you can get a miniature dinosaur of your choice, which is what I want, imagine that! He wants to save 500 tickets for the Scooby Doo alarm clock, pretty cool as well!

We had almost 480 tickets by the time we left.

Last weekend, we went "creeking" over in Washington, IL. This involves going to the creek bed, and looking for frogs. This also involves being covered in mud, wading through the water & being a kid. Ike caught 7 frogs, and put them in his temporary transporter, to bring home. I spoke to him a couple of days later, and they had all escaped outdoors! Little buggers.
